Frogs Across begins as two young volunteers each receive a set of 10 brightly illustrated frog cards. One at a time, they carefully count the cards onto a colorful lily pad tray, a moment that establishes the fairness and ensures everyone can see that they each hold 10 magical frogs. With cards counted and returned to their hands, the volunteers securely hold their frogs, making it impossible for any trickery—or so they think!

The performer explains that these aren’t ordinary frogs—they are magic-trained frogs who have mastered the art of teleportation. But there’s a catch: they need the legendary Croak of Invisibility cloak to perform their amazing feat! With a flourish, the performer unveils a special cloak that, when draped over the first volunteer’s hands, mysteriously begins to shift and move as if a frog is really hopping underneath. The audience watches in awe as the frogs appear to leap from one volunteer’s hands to the other.

The effect is repeated twice, each time heightening the mystery. But for the grand finale, the frogs will make the journey without the cloak—just pure, visible magic! When the volunteers count their cards once again, the results are astounding. The first volunteer is left with only seven frogs, while the second holds an incredible 13!
