“Wind Up” – The Companion Comedy Gimmick to ‘Balls Up’
Puppets and children’s entertainers go hand in hand, providing a brilliant way to captivate young audiences. The interaction between the magician and their cheeky assistant creates endless possibilities for playful antics and important audience engagement.
The scene: The magician is focused on setting up their next trick when, suddenly, the silk hanging over the side of their box mysteriously starts getting pulled inside. The children shout to alert the magician that something strange is happening. He retrieves the silk and places it back where it was, but again, it magically gets pulled into the box when he’s not looking. As the magician continues to prepare, the silk disappears a third time, driving the children into a frenzy. Finally, the magician investigates and discovers their mischievous assistant behind the chaos!
Our original gimmick, ‘Balls Up’, brought puppets to life by tossing balls out while the magician wasn’t looking, creating endless performance possibilities and generating lots of laughter. Now, we introduce ‘Wind Up’, the perfect companion gimmick to ‘Balls Up’. This mechanical device fits neatly inside your box, operating via a motor with adjustable speeds, all controlled remotely. Use it as a running gag or bring it back later in the show for more surprises.
Wind Up 2.0 adds even more Controlled Chaos and Magical Mayhem to your children’s show, guaranteeing endless fun, laughter, and most importantly, audience interaction! A must-have addition to every magician’s toolkit.
Special Note: Although this product has been developed with Children’s Magic in mind, the mechanism can be set up to pull from side to side opening up all sorts of possibilities for Séance, Parlour and General Magic Performance as well…
